With them was a gentleman, who looked as though he enjoyed good food, and who was probably her father. When I introduced myself to Will, he smiled. ‘Of course, I remember you,’ he said. ‘You used to work with my father. But you haven’t aged at all! You have a much more appearance than my father now does. Dad has very grey.’ I felt very pleased when he said that; he obviously didn’t notice I was beginning to bald. Everyone likes to think they look young when they get older.
