      The Great Wall of China is wide enough to walk on. It is about twelve feet wide. As you walk, you can look down over the sides at the ground. The wall is about twenty-five feet high, so the ground is
      far below.

      Do you think you could walk from one end of the wall to the other? You would have to walk a long time. What if you walked two and a half miles an hour? What if you walked all day and night, never stopping? You would have to walk for more than seven weeks!

      The Great Wall of China was built hundreds of years ago. Guards stood on the wall. They stood in watchtowers on the wall. The guards tried to keep China safe.
